From May 25-31, 2014, BALSIS will return to the United States, where it will participate in the New York Latvian Concert Choir’s annual choir camp at the Latvian Church Camp in the Catskills, together with the Montreal choir „Atbalss” and singers from Toronto and Ottawa.  After the camp, the choir will give concerts for the Latvian communities in Boston, Washington and at the New Jersey Latvian Society’s property „Priedaine”, in addition to a concert at The Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City and a private concert at a local music school.

Concert repertoire will include music by Baltic and international composers, both sacred repertoire and Latvian folk song arrangements, by such notable composers as Rihards Dubra, Arvo Pärt, Lūcija Garūta, Imant Raminsh, Morten Lauridsen, etc
