The miracles in Īle continue - the first international artists

On August 20 this year at 8.00pm the Charité Choir Berlin (Charité Chor Berlin) will perform at the acoustic concert hall ĪLE under the leadership of artistic director Adrian Emans. The choir will perform together with BALSIS Youth Choir, artistic director Ints Teterovskis, conductors Kamila Siliņa and Georgs Zujevs

On May 7, 2023, at 17.00, the youth choir BALSIS concert "Bridge to the Song Celebration" will be held in Brasa’s Bridge Square where the most popular "singing tram songs" of the song celebration will be performed.

BALSIS in Sydney

Latvian Youth Choir BALSIS has been on a whirlwind tour of Australia, performing in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, taking part in the Australian Latvian Youth Arts Festival and the Sydney Festival. The end of their busy tour schedule will be marked with a special final concert at the Sydney Latvian House on the 20th January, where they will be joined by local youth artists.

BALSIS returns to Australia!

BALSIS will be in Australia for their third visit from December 26, 2022 to January 21, 2023 to augment the program of the 37th annual Australian Latvian Youth Festival in Adelaide, as well as offering masterclasses and concerts in Sydney and Melbourne. The choir has prepared a range of concert programs. These concerts include performances of the newest choral music composed by Andris Sejans and Valts Puce, which has been dedicated specifically to BALSIS. The choir will also perform dazzling excerpts from the all-encompassing concert “Dziesma dejo. Seeing what’s not heard! Choral music visualisations for people with hearing impairments
